Hi Hunter

Just wondered if you had added the feature I asked about a while back to change the colour of the tray icon to say... red - for stop - rather than the normal green - for go :D icon - for when I right click on tray icon and disable to Pause and resume using the tray icon option. That way I don't forget to put backup back on again later hopefully.

Mark

Not yet, but it is definitely on the list. The list is long, but it is near the top, so it should happen in the next version. This version had to have the service fixed and a couple of other sponsored features.

Status update:
2 critical bugs remain in beta 2:
1. zipping of archives fails
2. 7-zip has a memory leak

I have been very busy in the last few weeks, but will be endeavoring to have v2.2 complete in the next week.

Hi!

Thank you for this great tool. I hope it will support UNC path (\\hostname\folder\folder). And I noticed when I added .svn in excluded dir it still copy the folder.

Regards.

Installed the beta. The service fails to copy the files. On every changed file it starts printing messages like below:

2013-05-15 11:08:02.742 T9 Debug Changed \\?\C:\test-folder\test1.csv
2013-05-15 11:08:02.757 T9 Debug Changed \\?\C:\test-folder\test1.csv
2013-05-15 11:08:07.406 T10 Debug DelayWrite 1
2013-05-15 11:08:08.795 T10 Warn Error copying file (try 0): File \\?\C:\test-folder\test1.csv not found

In addition, the service ignores completely the RunCopy setting

Discovered AutoVer today, very good product, I'm considering to use it within our company, possibly on 300 seats.

Running it stable as a service would be a huge advantage.

all the best :)

Just installed the beta, really great product. Just about to delete GenieTimeline ... seriously unreliable product with obnoxious support.

I have one problem. AutoVer Service is up and running; I can sync folders; it also syncs on hourly basis BUT the only thing that doesn't seem to work is real time backup. Any ideas why this could be?

Just to clarify my previous post .... If I add a new file to the watched folder, it backs up instantly, so that works. But if I edit a file and save it, that is when the real time backup doesn't kick in.
