I just started using version 2.2.1, uploading some local folder contents to my ISP's FTP site, and find that all uploaded files are stamped and stored with the current date and time.

If I use FileZilla or CuteFTP FTP clients to do an upload to the site, the date and time stamps stay as they were on my local machine.

Having backup files stamped with the upload date/time makes them very difficult to browse or use later.

I'm not using versioning at all. Is there some setting I'm missing?

Thanks.

DD

So after some research, there is a way to preserve file date and time using the Modify Fact Modification Time, or MFMT command. That seems to be how FileZilla does it, once I select the "Preserve time stamps of transferred files" option.

Any possibility of implementing this (perhaps as an option) in a coming version?
